Partner Reginald Jenkins, Jr. Wins Approval from the Bloomfield Zoning Board of Adjustment for KIDZ University Daycare Center

The Trenk Isabel Siddiqi & Shahdanian Real Estate & Land Use team led by partner Reginald Jenkins, Jr. secured use variance relief and site plan approval from the Bloomfield Zoning Board of Adjustment for its client KIDZ University for a new childcare facility to be located at 120 Arlington Avenue in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
“We appreciate the Zoning Board’s approval for this project, which will directly benefit the Bloomfield community and beyond by establishing a much-needed daycare facility to provide a large group of children with a safe and nurturing environment,” said Jenkins. “We also recognize the herculean efforts of the school’s owner Angela Burgos, and the design, engineering, environmental and safety experts involved in securing the school’s hard-won approvals.”
The project’s design team included John Samuels and Roland Whitley, Jr. of Neighborhood Planning and Architectural Design, Inc. as architects, Richard Adelson and Carl Fleurimond of Frank H. Lehr Associates for site engineering, Jeff Magdon of J.S. Held Environmental for environmental consulting, Elizabeth Dolan of Dolan & Dean Consulting Engineers, LLC who providing traffic engineering, and John McDonough as planner.”
Following final State approval, KIDZ intends to open its doors in September 2026.
