Reggie, chair of the firm’s Land Use & Real Estate group, concentrates his practice on all aspects of redevelopment, real estate, land use, and zoning for government, corporate and private clients. He represents affordable housing developers, municipalities, and local housing authorities, as well as national and regional commercial and residential developers, banking institutions, solar companies and interests, telecommunications companies, national and regional billboard companies, restaurants, and hotels throughout New Jersey.
For over two decades, Reggie has successfully handled all aspects of applications and appearances before federal, state, county, and municipal land use boards and agencies. His work also involves legal services related to site acquisition, leasing, contracts, zoning, permitting, post-approval compliance, project financing, tax abatement and economic stimulus incentives and other matters related to the real estate development practice. He handles all aspects of drafting and negotiation in a wide range of complex commercial contracts and related documents.
In addition, Reggie’s practice involves representing creditors’ rights matters including collections, foreclosure actions, and bankruptcy. Reggie also handles commercial litigation matters for clients in federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels.
Reggie is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, and the Garden State Bar Association. He serves as a trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Land Use Section and is a member of the boards of the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris Inc., Community Options, Inc., the Essex County Mental Health & Addiction Coalition, and the Vision for Orange Foundation, and is a past board member of the Independence and Urban League. He is a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 100.
