Partner Reginald Jenkins, Jr. Wins Unanimous Approval from the City of East Orange Township Planning Board for Multi-Unit Affordable Senior Residential Redevelopment Project

The Trenk Isabel Siddiqi & Shahdanian Land Use & Redevelopment team led by partner Reginald Jenkins, Jr. secured unanimous approval from the City of East Orange Township Planning Board for its client Aivilo & Partners, LLC, for the construction of a 5-story, 116-unit, 100% affordable senior residential development project, to be located at 177-183 North Arlington Avenue.
“We appreciate the leadership and guidance of Mayor Ted Green, and the Planning Board’s approval for this project. This will directly benefit the East Orange community by creating a welcome and much-needed affordable senior residential building allowing many to age in place in a well-appointed and beautiful location,” said Jenkins. “This housing will focus on senior health and wellness with dedicated amenities such as on-site physical therapy rooms and a community space.”
The project’s design team included Obi Agudosi, AIA and the team at OCA Architects, Inc., Brian Grant, P.E. and the team at Grant Engineering & Construction Group, LLC for civil engineering and site plan services, Lee Klein, P.E., PTOE of Klein Traffic Consulting, LLC for traffic engineering, and Gerard Haizel, PP, AICP of the Nishuane Group for planning.
