Law360 Discusses Richard D. Trenk and Robert S. Roglieri’s Successful Dismissal in Third Circuit

The Law360 article “3rd Circ. Says NJ City Can’t Stop Sale Of Failed Project’s Sites,” discusses the March 25 opinion issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in a matter stemming from an affordable housing project started in 2004 in Jersey City. The project developer filed for Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings in 2021 and sold two of the properties.

Jersey City appealed the bankruptcy court’s allowance of the sale in federal court and in the Third Circuit. Partners Richard D. Trenk and Robert S. Roglieri successfully represented the developer of the project.
