Satish V. Poondi co-chairs the firm’s Health Law & Pharmacy Law Practice Group. As a registered pharmacist, he brings a unique combination of knowledge and experience in law and science to the firm, which allows him to provide his clients with strategies that address both the legal and commercial aspects of each matter.

​Satish’s clients come from all sectors of the pharmacy industry, including independent pharmacies, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, retail chains, wholesalers, hospitals, and compounding pharmacies. He represents healthcare professionals and healthcare entities before licensing boards, including the New Jersey Board of Pharmacy, New Jersey Medicaid, Medicare, Drug Enforcement Administration, FDA, and the Office for Civil Rights. He provides guidance on the regulatory requirements associated with the sale and purchase of pharmacies, as well as:

Satish is a guest lecturer at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy at Rutgers University and an advisor to multiple pharmacy organizations. He understands the importance of educating lawyers and healthcare providers alike, and lectures regularly about topical pharmaceutical legal issues in continuing education seminars and at programs sponsored by academic institutions, professional organizations, and retail chains. In addition to speaking at the School of Pharmacy at Rutgers, Satish gives presentations to the N.J. Pharmacists Association, Indo American Pharmacy Society, N.J. Society of Health System Pharmacists, Legacy Health Group, and Pakistani American Pharmacists Association.
