John L. Shahdanian, II, a director at the firm and Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment group, was honored to serve as a panelist at the 2024 New Jersey State Bar Association Diversity Summit to discuss how the legal industry could – and should – address the issues of equity, inclusion, and accessibility. “I can tell you as someone who is a shareholder in a law firm and who is one of the people that is committed to hiring in a diverse manner: We have a recognition, and there has to be a recognition, that the generations that are behind us are looking at the world through a different lens,” Shahdanian said in a Law360 article about the event, “DEI Pros See Path Forward For Legal Industry Amid Hurdles.”

Shahdanian, a past Trustee of the NJSBA, the 2nd Vice-President of the NJSBA Labor & Employment Law Section and a member of numerous other committees is actively helping the organization carry out its mission and enhance the practice of law in the Garden State. In his Labor and Employment Law practice, he provides important training programs for business clients on human resources issues including anti-discrimination, sensitivity training, and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
