Mark Y. Moon concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, public contracting, insurance defense litigation and municipal law.
Mark represents a number of public entities in a variety of litigation ranging from complex litigation, civil rights litigation, Title 59 litigation and litigation involving challenges to government procurement and contracting. In addition, Mark also represents various commercial entities bringing claims against public entities related to contractual and commercial disputes, including claims related to the award of contracts under the Local Public Contracts Law.
Mark provides consultation and advise to public entities, including serving as the Records Counsel for the Garden State Municipal Joint Insurance Fund. Mark also has experience serving as special counsel to various municipalities, agencies, and local land use boards, including experience as the Borough Attorney for the Borough of Keyport; Board Attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the City of Rahway; Board Attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment for Monroe Township; and Planning Board Attorney for the Township of East Brunswick.
Mark served as the law clerk for the Honorable Ned M. Rosenberg, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County 2006-2007.
As a law student, Mark served as managing business editor of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. Mark was also a judicial intern for the Honorable William G. Bassler, United States District Court Judge for the District of New Jersey.
